The Professional Awning Manufacturers Association (PAMA) is giving students the exciting opportunity to enter their 2015-2016 Academic Design Challenge. Students must work individually or in teams to design an awning which can be fixed or retractable, a canopy or tension canopy that can be invented or pre-existing and that can be used for events and at resorts, hotels, parks airports etc.
PAMA will give students the educational resources and mentorship needed to move them towards new creative heights. Submissions must include 4-8 digital images along with design illustrations. The 1st place prize includes a $500 cash prize or $1500 for a team of up to three students, and a spot at the upcoming Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) Expo with paid expenses for hotel and travel.
